Stuff Your Ventromedial Prefrontal Cortex Doesn’t Want You To Know
I'm sure you're already aware that your Ventromedial Prefrontal Cortex (VPC) is where much of your high order thinking occurs (I do mean occurs as opposed to calculated). Pardon me while I extricate my tongue from my cheek.
It's also where you and the people you're trying to reach process powerful, subconscious urges to reciprocate.
Think this isn't powerful or important? It's precisely what makes government lobbying so devastatingly effective. It allows our government officials to make decisions favoring lobbyists while consciously believing they weren't influenced. It's been proven in tests using MRI machines to monitor the VPC.
Hey Pete, what the heck does this have to do with me making money?
Well, for one, it's the basic premise behind giving people something for free. The power however, lies in understanding that the free stuff should come without any strings attached because the old VPC is going to guilt trip them anyway.
So why is something so powerful and useful overlooked or treated like a gimmick.
Gimmick, you say! I gave them my very best $10 PLR crap that I bought from that guy who speaks sort of okay English.
Here's where I depart from science and use my observational powers.
I believe your VPC doesn't like to be blatantly gamed. That it has a BS detector and if it doesn't pass the smell test it probably has the opposite effect.
You don't want to make the VPC mad.
So if you want to make the VPC your friend, you should honorably do your best to provide relevant, high quality stuff of great value to people.
If you make friends with their VPC it won’t matter what they consciously think, they think.
